January swap pin

The theme for this month's pin was cold. I chose to make a snowflake for my partner. There are crystal beads on each arm of the flake and silver tiny tinsel around the attached face. I colored the face with blues to give it a more cold feeling. It is hard to see in this pic but the snowflakefabric has silver glitter in spots on it.

it's been a while!

This is the reversed side of the bag!

Boy, it has been a while since I last posted. I haven't been feeling all that well so haven't done much. I finally got all my Christmas decorations taken down yesterday!

Last year I was in a bag swap but never received one back from my swap partner. Friday I got this fabulous bag in the mail from my bag Angel Vickie. Isn't Vickie the best! I love kitties. They are my favorite! The bag is totally reversible so here are four pics showing both sides and reversed sides of the bag. She wanted to make sure I wasn't left out! Thanks Vickie!!

New year

Well I have been sick most of the week. Haven't done much but did want to wish all a Very Happy New Year.
The picture with all the items in it is what I recieved in an Advent swap on my C-R-A-F-T group from Jenny in New Zealand. The bag she made and it is gorgeous! Look at the cute pillow with the reindeer she made. Too Cute! Lots of patterns and things to do to and little choccie Santas that I ate each day.
The next pic is a quilt challenge I am working on for one of my guilds. It's theme is Mardi Gras on the Farm. I still have the partying chickens to put on. The barn is made from one of the two fabrics we have to use. The other is chickens which I am going to fuse on the background. They are going to hold the masks you wear for Mardi Gras! It is due in Feb so I need to do it post haste!
