Another quilt for donation

I have since finished this quilt and added the Same green for borders. I have donated it for the Sutter Hospital breast cancer auction. I worked on it a whole year as it was a block of the month. I hope it gets a really high bid. All the monies from the auction go to the breast cancer care and research at Sutter Hospital.

jelly rolls and hubby's shirt

These are Jelly rolls. They are 2 1/2 inch strips of an entire fabric line (to make 40 strips) rolled all together. Aren't they great looking!! The flat fabric is called a layer cake. It is 40 ten inch squares of entire fabric line in a bundle. I love these plush charm squares which I don't have a pic of. They are 5 inches squares of an entire fabric line.

This is some fabric I have had for five years to make my husband a shirt. I finally made it this weekend as he was gone camping and it is his birthday on Monday. Am I a procrastinator or what! LOL He loves Koi and we have a pond
I have also been working on my Hoffman doll all week. As soon as I am done will get a pic and post it!

bag for swap

Here is a bag I made with one pack of charm squares. It is from the Chez Moi line by Moda.

I put 1/4" tucks going thru all the squares in both directions. There are 3 large pockets on the inside. I made it for a bag swap on my C-R-A-F-T yahoo group.
I also started my Hoffman Challenge doll today! At least it is sewn. Now I have to stuff and decide how to dress her.

Breast Cancer Auction quilt

This is the quilt that my quilting mini group made to donate to the Sutter Cancer Health center for their auction to raise money to fight breast cancer. We each picked out the fabrics we wanted to use from Margo's extensive breast cancer fabrics. I made the first row, Couthouse steps with the Lorilei cancer ladies, Beth made the second row, pieced hearts, Mona made the third row, pinwheels, Margo made the forth row, propellers and the butterflies and Jerri made the fifth row, the 3d flowers. Margo put the quilt together and bound it and Mona quilted it.

charm playing

I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. I have mostly been playing with my charm square packs. I have made a table quilt with the Wildflower and Joycelyn lines from Moda. I am working on a bag for a swap with the Posh line from Moda.

I love the florals and they make a colorful cloth for my table.
