Halloween quilt

Here is the quilt I made for my quilt guild secret sister for October. I had the pre cut shapes that already had fusible on them. I just arranges them and machine button holed around the shapes. I quilted it with a pumpkin vine pattern I made up as I went along.
Close up of the quilting.

my birthday!

I had a great birthday today! I went to lunch with my youngest daughter. She also got me some clothes for my birthday. My hubby got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Aren't they gorgeous!
My eldest daughter came over on Saturday with the Grandkids. They brought me a bouquet of sunflowers which I added together to my hubby's bouquet. They also got me a balloon and a Starbucks gift card and kitty fabric.
Here are some fabrics I got from my online group C-R-A-F-T. I am in the birthday swap where you send two fat quarters to each person signed up. I put down florals and batiks. Great fabrics aren't they!

Santa Challenge pics

Voting is over. I am so happy, I won the silly Santa category! Here is the Santa I entered for the Santa Studio Santa challenge. We used Kat Lee's simple Santa pattern. Mine is called "December 26". The fabric used is from the Christmas fabric swap. The fabric for his shirt, pants and slippers were sent to me from Connie.

For my secret sister

Here is a small bag I made for my secret sister at quilt guild. She loves bags and sunflowers. The outside has brown background and sunflowers and the inside has packed yellow sunflowers. Hope she likes it!

For our friend Judy

What I have been doing for a week!!

Okay, the fabric was getting a little messy on my shelves. Not a lot mind you. So I straightened one pile. Well of course the rest looked really bad now and I went on refolding and straightening all my fabric. I do get myself into these cleaning situations sometimes. At least it looks all neat now. Till I decide to use it and have to go thru it all and mess it up again! LOL
